Overview

Both the Shelter and the Prison on Erangel are located in the southeast corner and have abundant resources.

Analysis

The shelter is great for those who prefer gearing up first, and the prison is better for those who like to get into gunfights as soon as they land.

Shelter entrance:

Marked in red are the 4 entrances to the shelter, and they are all connected. The shelter is not very big.

The terrain is simple inside the shelter. High-quality supplies are easily spotted. There are enough supplies to gear up a team of 2, but no more than that. There are not a lot of covers, just some boxes, and columns that must be used effectively when encountering gunfire.

Prison

There are 5 warehouses, I large building, and 2 small buildings in the prison. There are enough supplies to gear up a team of 2, but the item quality is not as good as the shelter. Players should try scouring the nearby area after gearing up inside the prison.

Main Vehicle Spawn Points

TIPS:

1. It is easier to find vehicles along the highway.

2. It is easier to find vehicles at intersections.

Recommend Landing Point

Shelter: All 4 entrances are viable. Don't land in an empty area. Prison: Land on the roof of a large building.

The shelter entrances are difficult to find and are not marked on the map, so players should land near them and then to begin.

The prison is mostly flat, so moving from building to building might be a bit dangerous. lt is better to land on the large building to observe the situation while gearing up.

Important Locations: Sniper Locations

1: Prison Tower

There are two towers in the top left corner of the prison. More than half of the prison can be seen from the top, making it great for snipers.

2. Mountain behind the prison

The entire prison area can be observed from the mountain behind it. The elevation advantage is also nice. By the same token, it is important to keep an eye on the mountain when searching for supplies in the prison.
