The Futuh Al Ghaib Book discusses Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani and among the contents of the 3rd Treatise are:

Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jailani He said:

If a servant of Allah experiences difficulties in life, then first of all, he tries to overcome them with his own efforts. If he fails, he seeks help from others, especially kings, rulers, rich people, or if he is sick, from a doctor. If this also fails, then, he turns to his Creator, the Almighty, Almighty God, and prays to Him with humility and praise.

If he is able to overcome it alone, then he will not turn to his fellow man, and likewise, if he succeeds, because of his fellow man, he will not turn to his Creator.

Then, if he doesn't get help from Allah, then he surrenders himself to Allah, and continues like that, begging, praying, humbling himself, praising and begging with anxious hope. However, Allah, the Almighty and Almighty, left him weary in prayer, and did not answer him, until he was so disappointed in all worldly means. So His will came true through him, and this servant of Allah passed away from all worldly means, all worldly activities and efforts, and relied on his spiritual life.

At this level, nothing can be seen by him, except the will of Allah, the Most Great and Almighty, and he arrives, regarding the Oneness of Allah, at the level of Haqqul Sure that, in essence, there is nothing that does anything, except Allah, there is no mover, nor a stopper, Apart from Him, there is no good, no evil, no loss or gain, no benefit, no giving, no withholding, no beginning, no end, no life and death, no glory and humiliation, no abundance and poverty, except because God.

So, before God, he was like a baby in the hands of a nurse, like a corpse being washed, and like a ball in a polo player's stick, spinning and rolling from state to state, and he felt helpless. Thus, he escapes from himself, and merges into the will of God.

So, he does not see, except his Lord and His will, he does not hear or understand, except Him. If he sees something, then that something is His will, if he hears or knows something, then he hears His Word, and knows through His knowledge.

So he was blessed with His grace, and fortunate through closeness to Him, and through this closeness, he became noble, pleased, happy, and satisfied with His promises, and relying on His word, He felt reluctant and rejected everything other than Allah, he is pleased and always remembers Him, the stronger his confidence in Him, the Most Great and Almighty. He relies on Him, obtains guidance from Him, is clothed in the light of His knowledge, and is glorified by His knowledge. What he hears and remembers is from Him, the Almighty, the Almighty. So, all thanks, praise and worship goes to Him.
