You can set the WORLD Radio app to download programs each day automatically and archive your favorite programs to listen to later—providing clarity to the news on-the-go.

Version 1.5: is an upgrade release that enhances functionality within the application.

- Sound Engine: The sound engine was completely rewritten with a standard and an advanced mode. In advanced mode, podcasts can played at up to 2x their normal speed (depending on the device type). This requires a fast device so it is an option to users and not forced (the standard engine is the default). Should any users experience problems in the advanced mode they can simply choose the standard mode in their user settings and still fully enjoy the programs.

- Wider Android device support and detection: More users should be able to access and use the application now from any device they choose. For Android where there are thousands of possible devices, should anyone experience problems simply send your device information to customer support and we will add support for it through update cycles.

- Native modal alerts added: Users are warned of low memory situations, when hard drive space is limited or when the application needs to inform users or confirm things like podcast deletion or logging in/out.

- Improved chapter functionality and targeting when selecting a different chapter from the chapter list.

- Chapter icons have been added to the chapter list.

- Improved list handling: Lists now load and reload much faster.

- Screen view transitions and navigation changes are much faster and more responsive.

- Improved member handling and security.

- When deleting podcasts users are now asked to confirm the deletion.

- Improved download and podcast buffering speeds.

Version 1.6

Several bug fixes and additional features:

Resolution: If connectivity was lost momentarily during podcast streaming, play was halted. Player will now continue to play what is buffered and resume streaming when connectivity is reestablished.

Resolution: In cases where a user loses total connectivity during a download, the application will attempt to recover and resume any broken downloads which may have been in progress when the connectivity was lost.

Added: Improved support tools - Double tapping the logo on the Today's Program screen, users are shown a list of their device details as reported by their device to our application. Member services can request users initiate this panel if they need the details to help troubleshoot potential problems.

Added: Users are can email the Member Services team right from the application to allow them to report problems. This feature also sends the user's device details as part of this email.

Added: Download option added to Today’s Program screen making it simpler to download on demand when opening the App
