Almost 300,000 prisoners passed through Adelaide Gaol during its 147 years of operation between 1841 and 1988. Experience the eeriness and intrigue of one of South Australia’s two oldest buildings as you wander through the original cells and yards.
Prisoners didn’t have the freedom to roam around the Gaol, and didn’t have a lot to keep them entertained. Today, you can use this app to uncover more about the Gaol’s history and discover some of its hidden secrets.
