You can see in which areas there is more or less coverage. From the data, the dead zones and the best communicated zones can be observed. This is very useful if you plan to go on a trip, tour the countryside or live in areas of poor coverage.
It also tells you which antenna your mobile is connected to and the three closest to it.

A telephone tower houses the electronic communications equipment together with an antenna to support cellular communication in a network. A cellular tower is usually an elevated structure with the antenna, transmitters and receivers located at the top.
The working range of a cell tower depends on many factors, such as:
Nominal power of the transmitter
Signal frequency
Height of the antenna above its surroundings.
Required uplink / downlink data rate of the client device
Reflection or absorption of radio energy by nearby buildings or vegetation.
The climatic conditions
Geographic factors.
Cell towers are grouped into geographic locations where population density is high and there is likely to be a large number of mobile phone users. When a user makes a call, the radio signal emitted searches for the nearest tower. The receiving antenna of the mobile telephone tower picks up the radio signal and begins the search process of the person whom it calls.
The main function of a mobile telephone tower is to ensure adequate elevation of the antennas that receive and transmit radio frequency signals from mobile phones and other devices. Mobile service providers generally configure adjacent cell towers to make use of different frequencies.
