The Qur'an is the holy book of Islam. Quran is considered by Muslims to be "The Word of Allah (God)".

This book is different from other religious texts in that it is believed to be the literal words of God, through the prophet Muhammad. Some Muslims call it the Final Testament.

It is widely regarded as the finest work in classical Arabic literature.

The Quran consists of 114 chapters of varying lengths, each known as a surah. Chapters are classified as Meccan or Medinan, depending on whether the verses were revealed before or after the migration of Muhammad to the city of Medina.
