রমজান মাস ইসলামিক হিজরি ৯ম মাস। প্রতিটি মুসলমানের জন্যই রমজান মাস হল অনেক নিয়ামতের মাস। রহমত, মাগফিরাত ও নাজাতের মাস। অন্যান্য মাসের তুলনায় এ মাসের ফযিলত অনেক বেশী। রমজান মাস চাঁদ দেখার উপর নির্ভর করে ২৯ অথবা ৩০ দিনে হয়ে থাকে। রমজান মাসের সর্বাধিক উত্তম একটি রাত হল 'লাইলাতুল ক্বদরের' রাত। এই মাসের এবাদত বন্দেগি ও কোরআন তেলাওয়াতের ফজিলত অন্যান্য মাসের তুলনায় অনেক অনেক গুণ বেশী।

তাই কিভাবে সহীহ শুদ্ধ ভাবে রোযা রাখা যায়, কি কি কারনে রোযা ভাঙ্গা যায় ও যায়না, কাদের উপর রোযা ফরজ ও ফরজ না, রোযা ভাঙ্গার কাফফারা এবং নিয়ত ও দোয়া ইত্যাদি নিয়ে তৈরি এই এপ্লিকেশন।

* Ramadan is observed in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is a month of fasting, prayer, giving and self-evaluation observed by Muslims. The month lasts 29-30 days depending on the sightings of the crescent moon.

* This month is full of celebration and festivity as the Muslims immerse themselves in reading the Quran and Duas and spending maximum time doing Dhikr. During this month, Muslims are not only supposed to refrain from eating and drinking during the stipulated timing but they are also required to curb all negative emotions like anger and prove themselves to be the perfect Muslim. Moreover, the Quran was also completed in this month.

* Lailat ul Qadr, also called the ‘Night of Power’ is one of the most coveted nights of the Islamic Year. It is one of the last ten odd nights in the month of Ramadan and is full of blessings. It please Allah (SWT) to see the Muslims fasting during the month to please Him. This month of Ibadah ends with the Muslim festival of Eid ul Fitr.
