"Loving" celebrates the real-life courage of an interracial couple, Richard and Mildred Loving who married and had to fight for their right to live as a family in their hometown. Their case reached the Supreme Court, which in 1967 reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry. The Lovings’ story showed us that love is stronger than hate and has the power to spark real change. Thanks to the Lovings there are currently millions of interracial couples and families living across the United States. Finally, there are now emoji to represent these diverse, loving families.
