A version of R.H.M Bosanquet's microtonal keyboard as a network MIDI controller, primarily intended for 9 inch and larger tablets.

Uses RFC 6295 for MIDI commands, "apple-midi" for session control, and autoconf (or "Bonjour") for service discovery.

PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING:-

This application is a MIDI controller. It does not generate any sounds itself.

You will need a computer at least capable of accepting MIDI commands over a wi-fi network using RFC 6295. (RFC 4696 is the older version of this standard and should also work.) For best results, it should also use Apple's informal network MIDI session management protocol, and autoconf for service discovery. On Macintosh computers, all of these are standard; on other platforms you may need to check with your supplier.

You will need a synthesiser which at least supports user-defined microtonal tunings. For best results, the synthesiser should also support real-time MIDI tuning messages and polyphonic pressure controller messages.

If you are using a software synthesiser with host software, the host software should forward such messages to the synthesiser; not all host software does.
