Your Taxi - Customer App

For customers of Your Taxi. Allows taxi-hailing and rating/reviewing drivers

NOTE: This is functional only for customers of a taxi company using the Your Taxi (Driver) app. Check with your driver or the taxi office for more details.

There are four buttons on the landing Page.

RATE THE DRIVER

Select the Driver Number from a dropdown list. Then Ratethe Taxi on a 1 to 5 scale for Punctuality, a Clean car, a Nice Vehicle, Safe Driving and Good Manners. Also there is an Overall Rating and a place for a short comment.

When these are entered, tap the Tap Here to Save Button to record the rating. Only the most recent rating for each Driver is retained on file.

CHECK THE RATINGS

Select the Car/Drver number at the top and then tap the Check the Driver button to see previous ratings.

The Ratings are displayed with the Car number in the left pale blue column. In the rightmost dark blue column is the overall rating. In the center grey area are the ratings for Punctuality/Cleanliness/Vehicle/Driving/Manners, in that order.

PROCEED TO MAP PAGE

This feature displays a map with the locations of nearby taxis.

First you are sent to a Data Input page to confirm name, the taxi company name and your own phone number and email

Fill in those boxes and then the Tap Here to Save button. Tapping Review Settings button allows checking the info on file.

This information needs to be filled in only once, the first time the Customer ever uses the app. After that it is reembered and the Text Boxes are filled with the information on file. Then all they need to do is tap the Go To Map Page button to proceed. This leads to the Map Page.

THE MAP PAGE

The are four buttons to choose from.

RE-CENTER

The Satellite Dish icon at the left re-centers the map to the Customer's actual location (if they have moved the map).

The second Clipboard icon leads to the Driver Rating page as described above.

The third icon which shows Three Cars leads the customer to View Driver Ratings, as previously decribed.

TAXI HAILING

The fourth icon on the right looks like a Megaphone. By tapping this icon, a call is made to the closest active cab. To choose another cab instead, the Customer can slide the map so the preferred cab is nearest the center of the map, then tap the Megaphone icon again.
