I understand how cache works, and this is not the issue I am talking about.

I am talking about joining into a map versus a monster say Vlum, that you have fought countless times before, from the group screen where after everyone has hit ready. Then when the game finished loading the monster is near or almost dead. Having my roommate with a different phone in the same match loads in at different times than me.

So I suggested having all players complete the loading process before the battle begins.

Seems like the fairest and easiest fix to a problem having all players finish loading before the event is active would be simple to make happen
