عتبر متحف الشندغة متحفًا تراثيًا بطابع عالمي يربط الإماراتيين والمقيمين والزوار بالتراث الغني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ويحتضن قيمها التقليدية، ويكشف عن استمرارية العلاقة القوية التي تربط بين الماضي والهوية الإماراتية المعاصرة. ويدعو المتحف جميع الزوار إلى اكتشاف المعروضات المادية منها وغير المادية، التي تُجسّد ماضي الإمارات من خلال المعارض المبتكرة، والفعاليات والبرامج التعليمية العامة المتخصصة التي تعكس مهمة الهيئة في الارتقاء بالمشهد الثقافي في دبي، والحفاظ على التراث الإماراتي، وتعريف الجمهور به.

Al Shindagha Museum is a world-class heritage museum that connects Emiratis, residents and, visitors to the rich heritage of the UAE, embracing traditional values and revealing powerful continuities between past and contemporary Emirati identity. The Museum collects, researches, preserves and interprets Emirati cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, through its innovative exhibitions, events, and public learning programmes. Through a variety of themes and topics, the Museum will collectively showcase Dubai’s heritage and culture, alongside the strong influence of humanity, altruism, justice, wisdom and discipline that form a core part of the UAE’s cultural identity.

Al Shindagha Museum aims to enhance Dubai’s cultural offerings by becoming a part of the Dubai Historical District, positioning itself as a cultural destination for residents and tourists. It provides residents with connections to their own past through new experiences and family activities, and caters to tourists who seek authentic experiences with unique programming and events, a range of experiences, and high-quality facilities.
