LENDCOR

Lendcor (Pty) Ltd was born out of a consolidation of two companies namely Lendcor (Pty) Ltd and Solitaire Housing Finance (Pty) Ltd in 2003. The shareholders of Lendcor recognised that for the company to become a national player, it would have to attract a large financial partner that could deliver substantial funding to the company.

Discussions were held with Mettle, a specialist financial services company that has earned a reputation for innovation in the creation of specialist financial solutions. A shareholder of Mettle is Metropolitan Capital, a division of Metropolitan Life. The outcome of those discussions resulted in Mettle becoming the majority shareholder of Lendcor (Pty) Ltd.
