Doodle is a picture created when someone's attention is approached. Doodles are simple images that can have concrete representations of meaning or only consist of random and abstract lines, generally without ever lifting a drawing device out of paper, in this case usually called "graffiti".

Doodling is most often associated with young children and toddlers, because lack of hand-eye coordination and poor mental development often makes it very difficult for children to keep their coloring efforts in the subject line art. However, it is not uncommon to see such behavior with adults, in this case is generally done with carefree, because bored.

Common examples of doodling are found in school notebooks, often on the periphery, drawn by students who are daydreaming or losing interest during the class. [1] Another common deletion example is produced during long phone conversations if pen and paper are available.

Popular types of doodles include cartoon versions of teachers or friends at school, famous TV or comic characters, finding fictional creatures, landscapes, geometric shapes, patterns and textures.
