Surah Qiyamah

Surah ini mempunyai 40 Ayaat dan ia adalah 'Makki'

1. Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) said: Whoever recites Surah Qiyamat regularly and acts upon it, Allah would raise him from the grave with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) in the best form.

2. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites this Surah, I and Jibraeel would stand witness for him on the Day of Judgment that the man believed in the Day of Judgment and that he would come out of his grave with face more lustrous than the faces of other people, and a light would be spreading before him. Whoever recites it regularly would get increase in livelihood and would be protected and would become popular among the people

Surah al-Qiyamah (The Resurrection)

This Surah has 40 ayaat and it is ‘makki’. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (S) that the person who recites this Surah will be counted from among those who believed in the Day of Judgement and his face will be shining when he is raised from his grave. It is also narrated that frequent reciters will be raised with handsome and attractive faces on the Day of Judgement.

Recitation of this Surah increases sustenance and protects the life and possessions of the reciter. He is liked by people. Surah al-Qiyamah also makes a person chaste, humble and sincere. Drinking water in which this Surah has been written keeps the heart safe from ailments.

Whoso recites this surah regularly, and acts upon it, would rise from the grave on the day of reckoning fresh, smiling, looking good and join the company of the Holy Prophet, and would pass mizan and sirat with ease, because the Holy Prophet and Jibrail would give witness that he was an upright man who believed in the day of judgement and so always carried out the divine commands.

He would have more than enough means of livelihood and would be under divine protection; and no man-in-authority would harm him
