Kabane Kusaka

Kabane Kusaka is de hoofdpersoon van Kemono Jihen.

Kabane Kusaka is the main protagonist of Kemono Jihen. Kabane Kusaka is a half-ghoul, half-human, who is in possession of a life calculus, an extremely rare white stone capable of shielding a Kemono's 'thirst', that was left to him by Kabane Kusaka parents. Wanting to know who Kabane Kusaka parents are, Kabane Kusaka joins the Kemono Office agency in order to look for them.

Kabane Kusaka has a short stature, pale skin, short black hair, and dull red eyes. Originally, Kabane Kusaka only wears the clothes provided by Kabane Kusaka aunt which are bathhouse clothes. After being recruited by Inugami at the detective office, Kabane Kusaka wears a black, short sleeve hoodie with a skeleton print and baggy sweatpants, that were originally Shiki's clothes. Kabane Kusaka also wears a simple pair of shoes. and is seen wearing a pair of red gloves.

If Kabane Kusaka Life Calus is stripped away from him he transforms into his kemono form. The entire sclerae of his eyes become red with a blue center. A horn is also seen on the right side of Kabane Kusaka head while the rest of Kabane Kusaka body changes into a dark greyish color, being quite veinous in appearance and Kabane Kusaka arm also enlarges, being much bigger than most of his body

Kabane Kusaka is quite emotionless due to being raised neglectfully; Kabane Kusaka is blunt when it comes to responses and could possibly be considered stupid and clueless about things. When in battle Kabane Kusaka does not consider Kabane Kusaka own well-being, Kabane Kusaka only seeks to stop the enemy. Despite Kabane Kusaka lack of emotions, Kabane Kusaka is a good kid who cares for Kabane Kusaka friends and strives to protect them. Through the course of Kabane Kusaka life, Kabane Kusaka becomes more expressive and less naive due to his interactions with others.
