panicPROTECTOR is a female designed app that may help you manage your anxiety attacks wherever you go by using your smartphone or tablet.

Based on your heart rate, panicPROTECTOR will guide you through customized breathing exercises. Suitable breathing exercises help resist and debilitate your anxiety as soon as you start to feel it set in.

The app has been designed by a psychiatrist and a doctor in biomedical engineering of international prestige. The content and services provided by this app are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never rely on information on this app in place of seeking professional medical advice.

Anyone who has ever suffered from an anxiety attack knows that it is hard to control your actions while the attack is going on. You may have difficulty breathing or moving in general and may have an accelerated heartbeat. This is why panicPROTECTOR will propose personalized breathing exercises that can be easily executed on the spot. Breathing exercises can help you manage the anxiety attack. The proposed breathing cycles can be repeated for as long as needed and will be adjusted in their intensity based on your respective heart rate.

HELPING YOU RELAX

Shifting the focus effectively and distracting your mind from negative thoughts requires your active and focused participation. To help you relax and alleviate mental stress during the anxiety attack, panicPROTECTOR will guide you, through carefully designed and easy-to-follow instructions and visuals, to take deep, even breaths, also known as abdominal or diaphragmatic breathing. Active and conscious breathing exercises can have calming effects.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you follow the guidelines as indicated in the application. If possible, find a quiet place for your breathing exercises to avoid interference from external noises with your breathing signals. The use of the app does not require an internet connection.
