ਕਿਸਾਨ ਖੁਦਖੁਸੀ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਾਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਆਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੀਆ |

ਅੱਜ ਜਿਸ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਖਾਦਾਂ, ਦਵਾਈਆਂ, ਬੀਜ, ਡੀਜਲ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਬਾੜੀ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਔਜਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਰੀ ਦੇ ਰੇਟ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਉਸਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੀਆ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਨਾਮਾਤਰ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸਦੇ ਫਲਸਰੂਪ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਦਿਨ ਕਰਜਾਈ ਹੋਂਦਾਂ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ | ਕਿਸਾਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਮਾਏਦਾਰ ਸਸਤੇ ਭਾਅ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਭਾਅ ਵੇਚ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੋਂਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ |

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਗੜ ਰਹੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਕ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਜੋ ਵਿਚੋਲਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾ ਜੋ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਖਪਤਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਚ ਸਕੇ | ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੀ ਫਸ਼ਲ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਖਪਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸਤੇ ਭਾਅ ਉਤੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਧ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਣਗੀਆਂ | ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ |

ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਖਪਤਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਸੋਈ ਦੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਚਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ |

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋ ੫% ਰਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ |

The farmer suicides when the crop is damaged due to natural disasters and the governments did not give any good price of crops that are harvested by taking loans.

Prices of crops are very nominal as compared to the rate at which the tools and machinery, fertilizers, medicines, seeds, diesel used in farms by the farmers in the current pace are increasing. As a result, the farmers are being under debt day by day. Capitalists are getting richer by buying crop at cheaper prices from farmers and selling them at expensive prices.

An initiative has been taken by the Punjabi Kisan Group to improve the deteriorating situation of the farmers that the mediator between the farmers and the consumers should be excluded so that the farmers can sell their crops directly to the consumers. This will give the right value of their crop to the farmers and the consumers will get better and cheaper items at cheaper prices. By doing so, the farmer will be prosperous and will not be forced to commit suicide.

At the same time, the consumer will be saved in kitchen equipment.
