It is a private initiative of lay and priests within the Catholic Church. There is a program around the clock: prayer times, services and many programs on faith and life topics. Special features are the many live broadcasts and the great commitment of many volunteers and speakers. Radio Maria Südtirol is not commercial, but is financed by the donations of the listeners. Radio Maria Südtirol is part of a worldwide network, the "World Family of Radio Maria".
