This is a complete departure from the typical Nexon title, but in a good way. A lot of Nexon titles strive to provide a "console" experience without much consideration for the hardware. ArkResona appears to be more what people think of as a mobile game, only modern.
The mechanics are not something new, but what the game lacks in originality it makes up for in design. The clean mix of 2D and 3D graphics fit together well. There are a lot of load times, but even the load screens are well animated.
This is a casual game, but it still includes auto, which is something you should expect after the last (insert large number) games were automated. As someone opposed to the new trend of auto battle, this was a disappointment.
Overall, this is a decent game. It may not replace the newest RPG, but it is definitely worth playing when you get tired of watching some pre-teen with a staff kill a bunch of monsters on her own and would rather watch colorful blocks explode on their own.
