VII WORLD PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE STUDY SYMPOSIUM (SIMELP)

The VII WORLD PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE STUDY SYMPOSIUM (SIMELP) is a consolidated event, consisting of several symposiums, conferences, roundtables and short courses that aim to function as a space to gather research and discussions among teachers, researchers, students and professionals interested in areas. such as Linguistics, Literature, Culture, Translation, Education. The event is also intended for professionals from other areas for whom the Portuguese language represents a point of interest or starting point for technological innovations in teaching and / or other areas.

In this regard, in 2019, the 7th edition of SIMELP will be attended by representatives from all continents. The presence of leading professionals from all over the world and the atmosphere of sharing bring even greater impetus to the teaching, dissemination and research of the Portuguese language, leading it to confirm and consolidate its importance on the world stage.

Between August 20 and 24, 2019, the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco will host the VII SIMELP, whose organization reflects a partnership between universities around the world in which the Portuguese language is taken as a teaching and / or research object. and with various forms of cultural diffusion. It is with great pleasure that we invite everyone to participate in VII SIMELP. We are sure that, as in previous editions, the event will be very productive and will contribute substantially to the enrichment of research, discussions and projects in the Portuguese language.
