Grupo JChagas was born from the faith, determination and enthusiasm of the family.

A family of Portuguese immigrants arrived in Naviraí in 1972 with many dreams, faith and love of work.

There they started their company in the food business of sweets and cookies, there the DEPÓSITO DE DOCES SANTA INÊS was born. Its founder André Rodrigues da Silva along with his wife Maria Inês and their four children.

In 1983, José Chagas dos Santos, who was an employee, but was already part of the family, joined Maria Filomena da Silva Chagas as a partner.

He, a young man with an entrepreneurial vision, began to see the need for customers in this region, especially in rentals and farms, not just having the sweets and cookies to sell some more dry and wet goods, especially in the area of ​​hygiene and cleaning. Thus, WHOLESALE DISPRANAVI was born.

In 1990 came the great opportunity to change and expand the business, wholesale starts to operate as Supermercado Chama, the name was inspired by the junction of the names of Chagas and Maria Inês CHA+MA (CHAMA) starting its activities with (04) four checks outs and (20) twenty employees.

In 1994, the store was expanded and reopened with modern facilities to better serve the population of Naviraí, it started to operate with (10) ten Check outs and from (20) twenty employees it increased to (55) Fifty-five employees.

In 1998, the opportunity arose to open our first branch in the city of Dourados, the result of hard work, dedication and faith. With (08) Eight Check outs and (45) Forty-five employees.

In 2009, our branch was inaugurated in the city of Iguatemi, as always, the result of hard work, dedication and faith. This store with (08) Eight Check outs with (40) Forty employees.

In 2015, in April, our new branch appeared in the same city of Naviraí in Jardim Paraiso neighborhood with (07) Sete Check outs.

In 2016, going back to the origins that was Atacado Dispranavi, the opening of the 1st Atacarejo of the company with the name of Fogo Atacadista, the name came from the inspiration of the Chama Supermarket making the connection between Chama and Fogo where we have (105) One hundred and Five employees .

The focus of the Fogo Atacadista store is to centralize the administrative sectors where the JChagas Group was created with (40) Forty employees.

In 2018, another branch was opened in the same city of Naviraí Chama Rápido, on Avenida Rodeo Drive, currently with 13 employees.

In 2019, the Chama Supermarket was opened in the city of Caarapó, currently with (37) Thirty-Seven employees and (06) Six Check outs.

And with the same thought of work, in 2020 another store was built by Grupo JChagas, the second store Atacado Fogo Atacadista. A large and modern store with 5,984m² of built area, 2,480m² of sales area, ample parking and 13 check-outs.

Work is the best way to achieve goals, above all, having humility, courage, determination and faith in God.

And this is just the beginning of a story that will continue to be an example of a well-run family business.
