This app contains both the biography and the writings of St. Catherine, a 15th century Italian Roman Catholic saint and mystic (1447 - 1510). She was famous for her work among the sick and the poor, particularly during the plague which ravaged Genoa, where she died.
Included are her two most important works:
1) A Spiritual Dialogue, which emphasizes love and devotion to God and fellow people.
2) A Treatise on Purgatory, in which she reflects on suffering, death, purgatory, and the afterlife.
She was beatified in 1675 by Pope Clement X, and canonized in 1737 by Pope Clement XII.
This app also contains a text-to-speech option.
