Incredibly, it only gets worse from there with a remarkable 482-day journey that tests Bill’s foundation and faith, but ultimately proves how resilient the human spirit can be. In a reversal of roles, the same deep love, belief and support he poured into his players as Coach Marsh helps fuel his recovery after a miraculous discovery leads to his triumphant comeback. Finally, himself again with the love of his life, Kristi, - as well their five children and granddaughter - Bill is more inspired than ever to be a true Difference Maker to each and every person he encounters. He also is back pursuing his true passion – coaching – only now he sees every minute of every day as a coaching opportunity about life. Since his revival, Bill has become an ordained minister and travels the country giving motivational talks as well as serve as an emcee and auctioneer.
