Functional graphs, computation of intersections, extrema, zeroes, num. integrals
The app 2D-Graphs offers the graphical representation of functional graphs of type f(x) or (x(t),y(t)). It comprises the computation of intersections, zeroes and extrema. One specialty is the development of the integral definition with a number of methods. Among these are upper and lower sums, trapeze and Simpson method, showing an approximation of the integral value. In addition the area betwenn two graphs can be calculated. For each graph, you may define a location, where the programme calculates the slope and draws the corresponding tangent.
The functional type (x(t),y(t)) in parametric form can be used to visualize paths.
All computational results are shown in the scrollable text area at the bottom. There are 4 lines provided to allow descriptions, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom of the graphical area.
You can save the actual session as a file and load it later. The option to export the graphic as png completes the capabilities of the programme.
