EU Rice

Rice to the top

This application is realized within the Action “Information provision and promotion measures on rice in Jordan, Lebanon and the U.A.E.” with the distinctive title “EURICE”. The product is rice that is produced in Greece and in particular, Medium Grain Rice.

This program has been applied by the Agricultural Business Partnership of Thessaloniki within the framework of the Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1831 and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/1829.

The Action’s objective is to inform consumers in United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Jordan about the benefits of rice consumption and healthy eating habits in everyday life.
