The feature supports two distinct methods: QR Code Configuration and Unique Device Code Configuration, offering flexibility and ensuring a seamless setup experience for various operational scenarios.

Features and Workflow

1. QR Code Configuration

The QR code method allows for a quick and secure setup by scanning a unique QR code associated with the device or account.

Process:

Generate QR Code:

A QR code is generated by the admin portal, app, or directly by the device (depending on the system architecture).

The QR code encodes essential configuration details, such as device ID, network credentials, and account linkage information.

Scan QR Code:

The user scans the QR code using the InShop mobile app or dedicated scanner available with the system.

The scanning process is instantaneous and captures all necessary details for the configuration.

Automatic Configuration:

Once the QR code is scanned, the device auto-configures itself with the provided details.

This may include connecting to the network, syncing with the backend system, or registering the device to a user account.

2. Unique Device Code Configuration

Locate Unique Device Code:

Input the Code:

The user enters the unique device code into the InShop app or admin portal.

The system validates the code against the backend database to ensure authenticity.

Download Configuration:

Once the code is validated, the app/system retrieves the corresponding configuration details from the server.

These settings are then applied to the device automatically.
