Chess games, dominate the Spanish Opening with variations other than 3 ... a6
To learn the chess opening, once we have studied the basic concepts of each of them, a good training for chess is to study real games of the grandmasters, as is the case of this app where you will find games of the Ruy Lopez Opening or Spanish Opening in PGN format.
In this app we focus on the variations other than 3 ... a6 of the Ruy Lopez Opening which is the oldest way to play chess with this Spanish Opening, which makes it very solid playing in this way and that we must at least know the most used variations.
To learn chess with these openings, games are offered in PGN format of the following 3 variations:
- BIRD (C61): 3... Nd4
- SCHLIEMANN (C63): 3... f5
- BERLIN DEFENSE (C65): 3... Nf6
These 3 variations are the 3 most popular, the Schielmann variant most used among club players and the most commonly used Berlin Defense among elite players. Equally the Bird variant must be known as it is less common and with it we can surprise our adversary since it is difficult to face it.
The Spanish Opening along with the Italian Opening is one of the oldest openings that exist in chess but curiously is one of the most used today. Therefore you have to know it, and what better way to do it than watching real games of the grandmasters and champions of the world of this sport.
