This app is here for you.

Watchdog app acts like a webcam server, which offers live feed to as many connecting devices as you want. Simply launch the app on your phone, connect it to your internal wifi network, and place the phone in a convenient location to capture the area you want to monitor. Now you can connect with another device, like smartphone, laptop, smart tv, simply using the web browser.

The web server allows you to configure the areas you want to monitor, access recordings of 5-frame sequence of detected event (like movement, sudden changes), and see frame-by-frame what actually happened.

Also, if you work in research and development of products involving TFTs or displays, and wish to test your product for unwanted sudden changes, like image glitch, screen suddenly shifts, or turns off, this is a very useful tool for the job. Depending on the phone, it can grab frames at about 30 fps, and allows you to mark the area you wish to monitor, in case parts of the display normally changes, but other parts shouldn't. If your test consists of looking at the product for more than 1 hour, and checking for errors, you may want to automate the process and extend it to days, weeks or as much as you want. Watchdog will keep an eye on your product, and will report anything suspicious through time-stamped recordings.
